“Digital Campus” Series Competition was initiated by the School of Information Science and Engineering, Xiamen University, in the year 2004, aiming to cultivate students’ hands-on ability, broaden their visions as well as enhance their innovation ability. The Competition has been strongly supported by relevant functional departments of XMU since the first contest, which has become a feature brand of the university.

Coincided with the ninety-fifth anniversary of the founding of Xiamen University, the School of Information Science and Engineering included "Digital Campus" into the anniversary activity list and elaborately planned. The present "Digital Campus" Series Competition will consist of six events, which are divided into two different groups. For the professional group, there are four events, namely, Program Design Competitions, Electronic Design Contests, Robot Soccer Simulations and Maker Competitions. In addition, in order to arouse the enthusiasm of the nonprofessional participants around the university, the organizer will specially launch two fun events: Cube Contests and Jigsaw Puzzle. The activities focus on the unity of professional, nonprofessional and enjoyment, which are suitable for all students in the university to participate.

According to the schedule, the links of “Digital Campus”, such as registration, training, competition etc. will be carried out after the road show. The tournament is expected to draw to a close by the end of May.
