In the evening of July 7, 2016, the closing ceremony of the final content of the Second Competition of National Graduate Mobile Terminal Application Design and Innovation in Xiamen University was held in the Haiyun Building, which was organized by the Graduate School of Xiamen University, and host by the Information Science and Technology School of Xiamen Unversity.

The final was launched in April, and there were eighteen teams or individuals to enroll in total. After the technical training and the primary election of all works, there were eleven teams selected into the final content. The judges of the final content were formed by the experts about the mobile terminal design from the school and other companies outside the school. During the final, each team displayed their works on the stage according to the draw. Each team introduced their product functions and features combined with the future of the mobile terminal and the trends of Internet in details. After the display, the judges asked questions and scored.

After the fierce competition, the ’Running Pig Team’ won the special award, and ‘XiaYing Team’ won the first prize as well as another team. In the meanwhile, the ‘Four Small Ants Team’ and other three teams won the second prize, and the remaining five teams won the winning prize.

The Second Competition of National Graduate Mobile Terminal Application Design and Innovation is aimed to improve the quality of graduate education. It gets high attention from the school leadership, the Graduate School and other relevant departments of the Graduate School. Our school held a lot of works to prepare for the content. We mobilized the students to join the competition, and organized some lectures about the UI design and technical training and guidance. We prepared the final meticulously and we intend to build a platform that can really inspire students’ creative vitality and interests in learning. All in all, we hope that students can find the inspiration and innovative potential from life to study in-depth. We also expect that graduates can find the innovation of their talent and blaze new trails.
