In the morning of May 1, 2016, a forum with Alumni who graduated from the School of Information Science and Engineering, Xiamen University in 1986 was held in Administrative Building C610 Haiyun Campus, Xiamen University. Every attendance spent a fantastic time together.

At the forum, the Deputy Secretary, Li Chenghua, expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the college and introduced the development, present status as well as the future plan of the college to alumni of Grade 1986. In addition, Deputy Directors, Professor Defu Zhang from Department of Computer Science and Professor Wencai Hang from Department of Electronic Engineering, respectively, introduced the construction of teaching resource, talents cultivation, progress in scientific researches and so on of the college in detail.

Wenchao Zeng who graduated from Department of Electronic Engineering in 1986 also expressed the gratitude and blessing to the college on behalf of the alumni. Student representatives were very vocal in communicating with senior. Moreover, alumni of grade 1986 shared their precious experience in entrepreneurship and put forward their valuable opinions and suggestions. Wonderful speech and positive interaction made the atmosphere to a climax!

After the forum, the college invited alumni of grade 1986 to visit the college students' innovation laboratory. Hope that all members of the School of Information Science and Engineering, past, present or future, can take advantage of every opportunity to strengthen contacts with each other!
