September 2016 Intake for Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology in Xiamen University Malaysia Opens for Application
The Malaysian campus of China’s Xiamen University is the first overseas university campus approved by Chinese government, which will pioneers overseas education, serving “One Belt, One Road”. It is rapidly taking shape on a 60-hectare site outside Kuala Lumpur since October, 2014. Furthermore, it recently opened its doors to its first local students, with others from neighboring ASEAN countries and China to join them later in the year.
After about two years’ preparation, bachelor programme, Engineering in Computer Science and Technology (CST), offered by the School of Information Science and Engineering, Xiamen University, has passed the discipline professional accreditation that carried out by Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). As one of the ten programmes in the first undergraduate programmes batch that has been approved, the CST in Xiamen University Malaysia will open for application for September, 2016 intake. Twenty-three main courses will be offered through the three-year’s undergraduate study. What is more, various interesting computer related courses will be offered to students in the campus as well.
Bachelor programme of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology in Xiamen University Malaysia Campus focuses on equipping graduates with a comprehensive set of knowledge that permits them to adapt to the ever-changing computer technologies and the constantly evolving computer industry, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computing skills that enables them to pursue topics of interest among the many sub-disciplines in computing, and with an ability to manage the computing infrastructure of an organization.
